In 2017, John Brown Media U.S. was asked to create a digital American version of Slimming World magazine, the top selling weight-loss magazine and fifth best-selling consumer magazine in the U.K. Along with the creation of a digital magazine, John Brown Media U.S. launched an app for Slimming World U.S. as well as produced instructional recipe videos, which were embedded within the interactive magazine and used across the company’s social media platforms to increase brand awareness in the U.S. consumer market.

Slimming World magazine was launched in the U.S. with the intent to not only be a support supplement to the online weight-loss program’s existing membership, but to also introduce the concept of Slimming World to a U.S. audience and acquire new, paid subscribers. Presented in a mobile-first format, Slimming World magazine is easily downloadable and accessible, making it simple for users to stay motivated and feel supported while on their weight-loss journey.
