John Brown Media U.S.’s work on behalf of John Hancock has been recognized at the annual Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) Showcase Awards, earning a Best of Show Award in the Insurance Industry Publications category for the winter 2017 issue of Live More magazine. The awards ceremony was held as part of the IMCA annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
“Live More’s content is intended to help John Hancock’s life insurance members live more fully, and we do so through upbeat stories on topics that fill daily life: food, nutrition, travel, finance, mental health, and overall wellness,” says Colleen Lowery, John Brown Media U.S.’s senior designer, who oversaw the issue. “For this issue, the client asked for a strong, summery variety of content that’d be a welcomed piece of mail after a long winter. We ran with that and were really excited about the issue as it wrapped. In the end, we weren’t the only ones–earning the IMCA’s Best of Show Award let us know it was well received.”
Now in its 60th year, the Showcase Awards recognize outstanding marketing and communications work in the insurance industry. Judging is conducted by more than 60 marketing, advertising, communications, design, and audio-visual professionals from outside and within the insurance industry. See a full list of winners here.
